On behalf of our customer - a global Pharmaceutical Company – we are looking for an interim Market Access Manager.

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Market Access professional to join a leading, globally recognized pharmaceutical company, renowned for its pioneering research and dedication to improving the quality of human life. This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, shaping the future of medicine across multiple therapeutic areas.

Period: initially 6 months, with possibility of extension.

Location: Preferably in Stockholm area but not a requirement.

 

THE ROLE

As the Interim Market Access Manager, you will lead both field-based and office-based activities, directly engaging with payers, TLV (the Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency), budget holders, and patient organizations to craft and implement comprehensive Market Access (MA) strategies. Your involvement will be critical from the strategic planning phase through to the execution of our product launches, focusing on innovative treatments.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with Business Unit Heads and the General Manager to develop and refine MA strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Launch Excellence: Play a central role in the launch strategies of new products, directly contributing to the planning and execution phases to maximize market penetration and patient access.

Patient Access Programs: Depending on the project duration, design and implement patient access programs to enhance the availability of our products to end-users.

Local Value Dossiers: Contribute to the development of local value dossiers, providing key insights that underline the value proposition of our offerings.

Pricing Strategies: Possibly implement pricing strategies, adapting to market dynamics to ensure competitive positioning.

Health Economic Evaluations: Leverage a good understanding of health economics to guide the development of cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analyses, facilitating access to TLV and influencing budget impact models.

TLV-Point of contact: Securing reimbursement through providing powerful value propositions that offers treatments that has great impact on patient lives.  

Leadership: Manage and lead an existing team, fostering an environment of excellence and innovation. Your leadership skills will be vital as you work closely with the General Manager to drive the team's success.

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT AND ABILITIES

-Extensive experience in Market Access, within the pharmaceutical industry.

-Demonstrated ability in developing and executing MA strategies and operations, with a strong track record in launching new products.

-Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare landscape, payer dynamics, and regulatory requirements in Sweden

-Proven successful collaborations with TLV and NT-rådet.

-Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding a team towards achieving shared goals.

-Proven capability for strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influencing cross-functional teams.

-A master’s degree in health economics, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
