On behalf of our customer – a Stockholm-based biopharma company – we are looking for a Med Info & PV Consultant.
Period: 6 months with potential to extend.
Scope: Initially 40% with potential increase.
Location: Flexible, but ability to visit Stockholm office regularly.
THE ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Medical Information Responsibilities
-Manage medical information mailboxes and triage incoming reports to identify medical information requests, adverse events (AEs), and product quality complaints (PQCs).
-Log and respond to medical information enquiries using approved documentation and reference sources, in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and regulatory guidelines.
-Support the creation and revision of Standard Response Letters
-Contribute to follow-up requests.
Pharmacovigilance Responsibilities
-Support oversight of pharmacovigilance provider deliverables, including: Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) quality.
-Manage partner due diligence and Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEAs), including oversight of reconciliation.
-Conduct internal reconciliation and monthly safety reporting activities.
-Support the Patient Safety Manager, acting as their behalfwhen required.
This role is reporting to Head of Patient Safety.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT
-Degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related bioscience field.
-Experience from pharmacovigilance or medical information, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
-Good understanding and practical involvement in local pharmacovigilance operations such as;
-market research oversight, compliance monitoring, reconciliation, and other PV activities at the local affiliate level.
