Junior Financial Controller to a Pharmaceutical Company
Interim Assignment | Stockholm
We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller for an interim assignment at a global pharmaceutical company operating in Sweden. The assignment runs from February through August and is well suited for a finance professional with solid hands-on accounting experience who can contribute independently within a structured environment.
You will be part of a professional finance team and report to the Accounting & Controlling Lead. The role is operational and focused on core accounting and reporting activities, supporting ongoing financial processes and ensuring continuity during the interim period.
-Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
-Manage general ledger accounts, reconciliations and documentation.
-Support financial reporting in line with Swedish statutory requirements and US GAAP.
-Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax reporting.
-Coordinate with external service providers within payroll and accounting.
-Handle intercompany transactions and support local bank activities.
-Participate in audits and support finance-related projects.
-Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
-Some years of experience within accounting, controlling or audit.
-Good understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes.
-Structured, reliable and able to work independently.
-Comfortable working in an international, regulated environment.
-Fluent in Swedish and English.
-Experience with SAP FI/CO and strong Excel skills are advantageous.
