Chief Operating Officer based in the Stockholm area
A fast-growing Swedish pharmaceutical company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer with experience from the pharmaceutical industry to support continued growth and portfolio expansion. The company has built a portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas and operates in the Nordics and Baltics. The next phase includes further geographic expansion and portfolio development.
The Position
The COO ensures effective value realization after agreements are signed. You will own the end-to-end process from signed agreement to stable commercial operations. It includes portfolio prioritization together with Commercial and Business Development. It also includes supplier strategy and relationships with CMOs, CDMOs, and licensing partners. The COO coordinates cross-functional execution for launches and major changes.
Key priorities are to reduce time-to-market, strengthen commercial execution, improve supplier management, sharpen portfolio focus, and increase predictability of revenues and launches.
The position reports to the CEO and is part of the Executive Management Team. There is no direct line management responsibility.
Your profile
We are looking for a professional with international experience in go-to-market execution, value realization, and resource prioritization. Experience from smaller or mid-sized pharmaceutical company is preferred. Experience with in-licensed and internally developed products is required. You must be able to lead without formal line responsibility. Strong analytical skills, governance experience, and sound commercial and operational judgment are essential.
