To our customer – an international pharmaceutical company within Rare Diseases – we are looking for a senior Medical Consultant (MD).
Period: Part-time consultant assignment with immediate start and no set end date.
You need to be available to travel to an ad board meeting at 10th of June, and if required, meeting with International KOL in person as part of the meeting preparation.
Geography: You can live in The Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland).
Responsibilities
Key focus task: Run advisory board including;
-Lead medical planning and drive medical activities with a long-term perspective.
-Preparation of meeting slides with AMP and International KOL.
-Facilitate the dialogue during the meeting.
-Present data relevant to the Company product and ability to discuss data.
-Steer the discussion in alignment with Ad Board meeting objective and desired outcome.
-Ability to engage in scientific conversation with experts and question/challenge perspectives.
-Manage medical requests from KOLs.
Competencies
-Medical doctor.
-Experience in Rare Diseases is a plus but not required.
-Comprehensive experience successfully planning and running advisory bords with Secondary Care specialists / experts.
-Have the required knowledge and confidence to facilitate the ad board meeting, steer the conversation, ensure desired topics covered and questions answered.
-Able to easily read and understand data (publications/RWE, posters, abstracts, SPC), disease area and challenges associated with managing disease / rare disease.
-Know how to prioritize and manage discussion with various viewpoints (bring it back – summarize and conclude).
