On behalf of our client BONESUPPORT (Nasdaq Stockholm: BONEX) — a fast-growing innovation-driven international MedTech company — we are seeking a Director Global Business Development to play a key role in shaping the company’s next growth phase. This is a headquarters-based position located in Lund. You are based in the Öresund region.

BONESUPPORT develops and commercializes injectable bioceramic bone graft substitutes (CERAMENT®), addressing a critical unmet need in orthopedic surgery.

THE ROLE

This newly established role is designed to fuel growth by proactively identifying, shaping, and advancing high-impact business opportunities into clear, decision-ready proposals, leveraging sharp market insight, analytics, and commercial acumen.

You will drive cross-functional alignment and bring structure and momentum to innovation and portfolio prioritization, ensuring the right strategic choices are made and executed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Opportunity Assessment

·       Lead identification, qualification, and evaluation of new business opportunities.

-Partnerships, product extensions, new markets

·       Engage external stakeholders to validate opportunities and support early partnerships.

Global Market Research & Trend Intelligence

·       Conduct global market research to identify growth potential.

·       Track emerging clinical, technological, and industry trends relevant to Medtech.

 

Tools, Methods & Governance Compliance

·       Ensure consistent use of analytic and research tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, CRM/ERP sources).

 

Facilitate Advanced Data Analytics & Insights

·       Ensure data quality, transparency, and compliance.

·       Continuously improve BD processes, templates, and decision frameworks.

 

Strategic Planning & Portfolio Prioritization

·       Partner with leadership on growth strategy and opportunity roadmaps.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

·       Coordinate cross-functional alignment

·       Align data, assumptions, and resources.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You bring strong business acumen combined with a strategic, holistic mindset and a solid understanding of MedTech product development. With a proven ability to collaborate across functions and align stakeholders, you operate with senior presence and confidence. Your approach is highly analytical and data-driven, supported by advanced skills in Excel and relevant tools. You have demonstrated success in driving change within complex, matrix organizations and are experienced in developing and presenting robust, end-to-end business cases.
